Next Saturday, December 4, Body Moves will host a workshop on the Alexander Technique called “Bridging the Gap Between Internal and External Space.”
For those unfamiliar with this movement, the Alexander Technique is simply about posture. That is an accurate but inadequate description as the AT goes much further.
The Alexander Technique is one of the nine modalities included in Nia and focuses on how to move in a more relaxed and comfortable way, the way nature intended.
In this workshop, certified AT trainers Sara Wolffis and Alaris Todar will help identify possible harmful habits built up over a lifetime of stress and teach participants to move more freely in their own bodies.
If you are ready to feel more comfortable in your own body, the Alexander Technique is for you. It will also greatly benefit yoga and dance students, including Nia and Zumba.
**IN-STUDIO SPACE IS LIMITED**, so sign-up early!
