A few days ago, we introduced the Blue Zones. You may be thinking, “Great, they exist. So what?” Why does it matter?
If you have time, here is a longer video of Archelle Georgiou, a physician, giving a TedTalk about what people can learn from the Blue Zones. In 2009, Archelle was the medical correspondent for the Blue Zones international expedition to Ikaria, Greece where she helped explore the underlying explanations of the island’s longevity along with the National Geographic team.
The Blue Zones have a lot they can teach us, but only if we study and learn from them. Will you?
