The International Council on Active Aging declared Active Aging Week for the first time in 2003 with the intent of highlighting and celebrating the positivity of aging. Older adults are still an active and vital part of society, and this initiative is meant to challenge those who think differently.

and that is what Body Moves is all about!!
Body Moves is Eastern Iowa’s only movement studio specializing in fitness and wellness for mid-life and better adults through in-studio and online programming. Our mission is to give as older adults the means to experience wellness activities and exercise in a safe, supportive environment, thus enjoying the benefits of a healthier, more active lifestyles across the life span.
