It often feels like summer takes f-o-r-e-v-e-r to arrive, then you blink, and — poof! — it’s gone, which is why it’s hard to believe that it’s already August! That said, it is still August, and we’re going to hold on to it for all it’s worth!!
Here’s what we’ve got planned for this month:
We are excited to be bringing BAREFOOT BALANCE to our Specialty Class offerings!
Fridays at 11:45AM
Find more details on our EVENTS page HERE!
Barefoot Balance will be taught by FAI trainer and Barefoot Specialist Holly Carpenter. If you would like to learn more about barefoot training, join us for Coffee & Conversation on Friday, August 12, at 11:45AM as we answer the question: Is Barefoot Balance for Me? (I’ll give you a hint; if you have feet, it’s for you!) Hear first-hand experiences from current Body Moves members and catch a glimpse of the myriad of benefits garnered from barefoot training.
Saturday, August 6 is a unique workshop called Prompt for the Planet from 1:30-3:00PM. This special event will be led by yoga instructor Sarah Neary and Preucil Preschool Director Tricia Windschitl.
Sunday, August 7, is a group outing to Lovely Bunches. We will leave the studio at 12:30PM. We are currently looking for drivers; please let us know if you are willing to help in this way.
Friday, August 12, is Coffee & Conversation: Is Barefoot Balance for Me? at 11:45AM. (Read more about balance training HERE.) The class will start the following week at the same time on Friday, August 19.
Saturday, August 27, is a group outing to the local Farmer’s Market. Carpool rides will be arranged to accomadate students wishing to return to Body Moves for yoga or Nia.
We’re looking forward to a fabulous end to summer.
We hope you’ll join us for some or all of these events. Why?
Because at Body Moves you will feel better! Guaranteed!!
