Last week was National Veterans’ Gratitude Week. During the week, our instructors included elements of the Veterans’ Yoga Project in classes and workouts; and Body Moves students donated a total of $501 to the Veterans’ Yoga Project that serves to provide funds to specifically train yoga teachers to be able to assist veterans in recovery and learning resilience skills through yoga practices of Breathing, Meditation, Mindful Movement, and Guided Rest. Wow!!
This was the 6th year of the national Veterans Yoga Project and Body Moves has been actively involved all 6 years. Thank you, Body Moves students, for your generosity and commitment to assisting in wellness initiatives!
